On 4 October 2016, I joined an interesting panel discussing my experience as a woman who is trying to build her career. It was interesting to see the different ways in which women have carved careers for themselves while dealing with issues of gender, race, culture and identity.
The overarching advice seemed to be consistent – stick to your guns and follow your instincts. Each career is going to be different and you have to feel right about the choices you’re making.
